My client is a fast-growing chartered Accountants in Maidstone, who are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their already successful team.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role in Maidstone:
Preparation and finalisation of accounts and corporate tax returns for larger Limited
companies and groups in both FRS 105 and FRS 102
Preparation of personal tax returns
Responsibility for portfolio of monthly/quarterly bookkeeping and VAT returns
Handling day to day queries from clients
Research and assistance with more technical areas with managers
Training of junior team members
The ideal candidate for this Semi Senior Accountant Role in Maidstone:
Accounting and finance or other relevant degree preferred but not essential
ACCA//ACA part qualified
Experience of OMB's covering a range of industries
A motivated individual
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Technical approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work on own initiative

Roles & Responsibilities of the Tax Senior role in Maidstone:
To look after own portfolio of private clients and other tax colleagues with compliance work and ad hoc tax advisory work as required.
Managing a portfolio of private clients (including individuals, sole traders, partnerships and trusts)
Liaising with other offices/departments as required
Carrying out compliance work for personal and corporate clients of the firm.
Dealing with HMRC as required by email, letter and telephone
Liaising with clients as and when required
Preparing form P11Ds
Ensuring clients are advised of impending deadlines.
